As the CEO and Founder of aSistHER Inc, my first thought that inspired the birth of this vision was “How can I foster a community that can “assist” mothers, but also promote “Sisterhood” all in one”? A single mom driven by fortitude despite being a college dropout, I persevered and found success in the corporate world, purchasing my own home and discovering my true calling. Along this journey, I realized the importance of community and support of pioneering women who supported me when I  felt isolated, overwhelmed and inadequate.

 

As a servant leader, I set out to create a safe space, where women can edify, empower and equip one another. I wanted to build a village of compassionate individuals who understands the unique challenges faced as women and are eager to pour back into their lives. Today, we have made a meaningful impact, offering assistance, resources and most importantly, a sense of belonging.
